I was following my friend Pasha to an "All You Can Eat" Japanese Restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale (I was NOT speeding) and we were on Biscayne getting onto Ives Dairy road. The police pulls me over and I thought it was because I had my music a little loud. Ok, so the cop walks up asks for my license, registartion and insurance. He then comes back and gives me a ticket for following too close. That is actually what is written on the ticket along with the fact that it is an . He told me I was less than a car length away from Pasha's car. I was really really upset. I am going to give the ticket to one of those traffic lawyers so no points will go on my license and the insurance will not go up. Oh...to add to the pain...I had just gotten a car wash and on the way to eat at the restaurant, it started pouring on the highway and the car is dirty again!! That was my day from hell.

Come to Bahama BReeze Tuesday night, have a few drinks, than fore it up on Pines Blvd, than, and only than will you fond out how miserable the police have become in South Florida. I have never seen it so bad on "speeders" as now. Thanks to Fast and Furious, the cops are labelling or "profiling" anyone in a japanese sports car as street racers. It sucks.

Sorry to hear that dude...cops suck (most of the time)! Last night there was something HUGE on 595 eastbound in the middle of the far left lane. The cars in front of me swerved to avoid it and, as i was following kinda close, i had to swerve at the last minute almost causing an accident!!! The first exit i got off at there was an FHP car stopped at the light and I told him: "Officer, there's some HUGE debris right back there on 595...it almost caused me to get in an accident and someone with less experience or a less responsive car may actually spin out!" his response, with an attitude: "I'm going on break...sorry kid."

 

Thanks guys...I had a cough when I came here, but it has gotten a lot worse. If I don't get better, there is no telling when I am going to go out. I hope I will be feeling better so that I can come out tomorrow night. If not I will post to let you guys know. I don't want to get anyone else sick. I hate it when someone knowingly goes out when they know they are contagious.
