Default Maintenance Required

Can somebody tell me how to erase the maintenance required display on the dash. Thanks. Jose'

Also, what is the black plastic box under the car just ahead of the differential on the drivers side?

I have been told if you don't have the device to erase it the way to do it is unplug the battery for a little bit and it will reset it.... be sure you have the code for the radio if you do this though.

Press and hold the "trip" button, turn the key to the "on" position, keep holding the button until the light goes out. VOILA! No more annoying light.
