Minor tech day/work offer
My buddy (who's a USMC Mechanic in Japan and now does work here locally) and I will be doing oil, tranny, diff fluid, clutch bleed, and clutch delay valve removal to my s2k this weekend as well as minor maintenance on our other cars and wanted to extend the offer to any so-fla s2k members who need minor stuff done. I know how annoying it is to find certain items (IE: the 23mm closed end socket for the diff fill bolt) and we have heavy duty jacks (and jack stands) and wheel ramps that make it pretty easy to get under the car and tools for the above tasks so just wanted to extend the offer if anyone is interested.
PS: We won't be doing valve adjustments as Josh (Coral Doc) seems to be our local expert at that and neither of us have done an s2k adjustment yet so we'll leave that up to him and look forward to having the pleasure of attending his next tech day.

No problem, just bring the oil and filter (and crush washer if you want a new one used) and we can get it taken care of. So far we probably have two s2k's besides mine which we should be able to accomodate. Probably Sunday around noon? I'm in Miami Shores btw.
Your more than welcome. We are thinking either Saturday or Sunday around noon. How does that work for everyone? We'll work for a few hours, we'll do everyone's fluids first and if time allows we can do delay valves and things like that.
My company will be paying for my buddy's (our resident JDM mechanic) time for a few hours. All you would need to bring is whatever fluids you want put in, filters, crush washers (if you want a new one), et cetera. Any food/drinks (snacks, beer, etc) is totally up to you and of course appreciated. There is a BBQ available if anyone wants to have food while their car is cooling off, being worked on, et cetera.
So far it looks like there may be 3 other s2000's besides mine and an accord that will be getting worked on. Please chime in with a confirmation if you'll definitely be coming and what you want done so we can try to get an idea. I can accomodate probably 3-4 cars in the back work area at a time, and worse case scenario there is plenty of parking out front to store cars while others are being worked on.

Miami Shores. You would take the 103rd street exit if you are coming from I-95, I'm about a mile or less from the exit (but on the good side of town even though you wouldn't think it when you first exit I-95, no need to worry about you or your cars safety).
