Default Mission complete

Well,

Being as I didn't have $1200.00 to install the top I had just spent $1100.00 on I decided to try and do it myself with some help from the helms manual. For a first timer that isn't very mechanically inclined it took me about 10 hours in total to complete most of the time went into figuring out how the interior pieces came out along with the top itself then putting back on the new top while not trying to hurt anything..

I respect Rick Case Honda and the work they do but honestly this should take nobody with power tools, experience of doing it before a handful of times anymore than 4 hours to come off and on. They wanted to charge me waaaaaay too much time to do this but I guess sometimes you have to pay it.

I wouldn't be showing pictures of your license plate if I were you...

My advise... give your insurance company the heads of of EVERYTHING you have added to the car and INCLUDE pictures. Make them sign that they received the pictures and information too. WHY? Because if you fall victim to the seat thefts like some of us, you might get screwed over and have to get stuck again with an '00 top and your $1,100 will be worthless. Just a word of advise.

Wow!
Congrats on being able to do it yourself. I bet it was very satisfying in the end to have done it & saved that much $$$.

By the way, I agree w/ Mav. Might want to edit out that license plate.
