Cool - third one with the S2000 is mine. Lots of fun - first time on the track in over a year, and first time since I put on the supercharger and redid the suspension. Lots of fun, car performed better than expected and was very quick. As for the driver - I need a lot more work . Great day, great instructor and great event.

DesignFreak - great talking with you. Saw a lot of S2000s out there, but mine was the only one on the track besides the pace car . Would love to see / run with some other S2000s. Interesting that 3 (I think) of the instructors had S2000s...and by the end of the day I counted quite a few in the parking lot.
What was the deal with the rentals? There was a charger out there with an Instructor Candidate that was dog slow, and saw a grey mustang that had a bit of body roll around the turns. Didn't realize they were sprung that soft?
Great time, Chip the instructor was great. He took me out in his 911 Carrera at end of the day and picked up a few more tips. Some techniques on the 911 are same as the S, in both you have to be comfortable closer to the grip limit and quick to correct the oversteer. I didn't terrorize him too much and was much quicker now than last time when I was stock. That was due primarily to instructor, suspension and a bit better throttle authority / torque on the turns with the SC.
Brakes were insane with the Cobalt Spec VR and SPec C rears I had leftover - too bad Cobalt doesn't make these any more.
Good talking with everyone, apologies if I seemed rushed - other than the Enduro didn't have much time / busy and fun day. Indus thanks for the pics - I remember your Black S - much cleaner than my dinged up S. Bumper and hood took a beating when the Camaro in front of me blew his exhaust manifold. Hope to see ya'll out there again!

What happened with the camaro? That built racecar camaro that was there had problems? That was an insane car for a novice to come in. I would have been one scared puppy riding with him.
