Need a good machine shop
well my car was just about due for a valve adjustment since i began hearing them tick loud as hell. w.e so in the process of the adjustment, i saw that valve on closer to cylinder 2 on cylinder 3 had absolutely no play, after loosening all the wat still had no play. began looking and saw that the keepers began falling through the retainer and the retainer and spring are banged up from the rocker arm hitting it. now i dnt want to remove the head because it is just one valve. already have the spring retainer and keepers. really need a shop that knows what they r doing and how to do this because there IS a certain process to it like pressurizing the cylinder to keep the valve from falling in. if anyone has any recommendations please give me a call or txt at whatever time since i dnt spend too much time on the computer

You can use nylon rope if you dont have air.
Set the piston at BDC, then feed the nylon rope through the sparkplug hole (leave two or three feet out) and then rotate the crank until you are close to TDC. That will prevent the valve from dropping.
