Need Purchase Help
Your finally questions is the biggest. The 04 and 03 and before are two different cars, somewhat. Different engine, a little different suspension, and a different look inside and out (not drastic though).
I won't make a recommendation either way, I have an 02 and love it, but I have never driven or riden in and 04. My advice do as Hunter says, "Take your time and get exactly what you want, you will be keeping it for a while, I promise you!"

I just bought my 04 S2000 this past Friday, I did a lot of research and haggling, and you won't find a better deal than at Pompano Honda. If you contact them via the internet, they will offer you the car for $29,996 brand new, which is an incredible deal. That is invoice plus $496 which is pretty much the destination charge. All of the other dealers could not believe the price and the best they could do was $30,500 (Rick Case and Holman). So if you want the hands down best deal with no gimmicks, contact Pompano Honda, I think they still have 4 or 5 04'sin stock. Hope that helps.

That's a hell of a price. I think that's the best I've heard yet...even with my other post in S2000 Talk!
That is barley over Invoice like I said, and you will not find it any cheeper than that unless you buy a slightly used one. I told you I worked at it for a while and did my research! Contact Colin Owens at Pompano Honda via e-mail. You can go to Pampanohonda.com and request an online quote, and he should come back to you with $29,996 no hidden cost and no gimmicks. Like I said, I believe they have 5 in stock, or at least they did last week. 4 Silver and 1 white. Good luck.

Gonna go check it out this weekend, and I'm considering stopping into Rick Case Honda first with the email to see what they come back with.
Thanks again for the info!
Just a heads up, if you don't want to waste your time. Rick case is gonna offer you $30,500 at the best, but then they are gonna try to get you with there gimmicks and incentives, which isn't bad, but they won't meet the $29,996 price. Like I said I did my research. Instead they will tell you that you will get the rick case 10 year/100,000 mile warranty & 5 years roadside assistance for free. Which is good, but remember it is just a Rick case warranty, not a true Honda warranty which means there is a large deductible and you always have to take it to Rick Case to honor the warranty. Actually If I remember correctly, Rick Case offered me the car for 31,xxx plus a $1,000 gift certificate to City Furniture or something like that. When I showed them the offer from Pompano they dropped the price to $30,500 but also dropped the gift certificate, which I found pretty rude. Just thought I'd give you some more insight. Good luck.
