I still love my PS3...lol



I just wish they had emulators for it and stuff....YOU WIN in that department X-box!!

 

My 1stgen xbox, I had modded(like everyone else)

I had An NES and SNES emulator on it... with all the games for it.

I would bring that thing to partys and people would play that more then anything else.

 

Xobx is what defined the meaning of online play.. thats where the gamers are.

the playstations are for people who play games once in a while or just use the system as a dvd player.

everyone is just to caught up in the fact that the ps3 has a cpu bigger than my head, has a 60 gig hard drive when the 360 only has a 20 gig, and that it has blue ray

 

The PS3 has a CPU bigger than your head? Now ignorance is just running around wild. Let me help you... you meant to say...."The PS3 is smarter than me." The 20GB PS3 has being discontinued long ago.

Ok let me break it down to you, the PS3 is just being born, lets have this conversation in a year when titles like Gran Turismo 5, Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill 6, Assasins Creed, and other games even though they will be available for the Xbox, the Xbox is underpowered so in the future when they tap into the real power of the PS3 its gonna be a handicap. The 360 needs like 5 different versions and with different CPUs, sad. The PS3 has only the 60 GB and soon the 80 GB version which will stay alone when all the 60s are sold. The PS3 is gonna be to much for the Xbox to deal with in a year and they know it. Sad the Wii is kicking bigger ass


Im playing classic Mortal Kombat II and Tekken II and other oldies in my PS3 and its beautiful. MKII has an online feature now that its awesome, I get my ass kicked every night. (I can't play like I use to 12 years ago)

The PS2 is the most played because is the one most have. In two years this surverys will show the PS3 as the #1 followed by the Wii or the other way around.

Now, Im loving FOLDING @ HOME. I got 5 work units in, anyone doing this?

 

No... why? Because I refuse to help cure a disease regardless if it one day saves my life... also I doesn't run on the far superior Wii...

 

NOOO way. Again, im a hardcore PS fan, but the xbox360 is already 3rd...and the ps3 is dead last... And although its still increasing, it only increased by .2 Thats nothing.

The wii, all though owned by many, will fall short due to its tittles being mostly "party" tittles. Everyone will have one, but it will only be played on the off occasion. Most its tittles will fall off the "need to have" scale... So it will fall off, like the gamecube did.

So it will be a ps3 vs 360 battle (duh)...and although i believe the ps3 will end up ontop, i think it will take more then 2 years. Like the 1st gen xbox, i think the ps3 will really only hit its stride towards the end of the current console run.... Were the hardware is finnaly being pushed to the limits on both systems, and the 360 will start to show where its short. I believe the ps3 will be on top for possibly a year or two. Then the new consoles will show up.
