Hey.. I'm heading down to Miami beach July 30-Aug 6 just for the hell of it and now that I booked I got all paranoid from other people about "hurricaine season" Please someone tell me that I wont be hitting anything like that. Thanks

 

Always a chance...although I think the first one hit in late August / early September last year...someone back me up on this. Just be ready for afternoon showers, and lots of humidity.

 

USUALLY its not a big problem..
every few years.. it sucks... most likely you'll be ok..
don't buy into all the hype...

 

Things should be fine. Make sure to stop by and have a drink with us.

MB06: Don't worry about Hurricane season, worse case scenario there is a 5 day notice given to us pretty much if we are in the (as I heard today and laughed) cone of death (cone of uncertainty actually) that's when you can change your plans. Have fun and luckily you'll be coming down after the "rainy season" (it's been raining down here for like 2 weeks!
