Rick Case Honda
Although I'm sure everybody on this local forum is well informed of the people at Rick Case (Eddie/Neil)
I thought I'd go out of my way to give them props, anyway
. I never spoke with Neil but once I think when I did my 03 ECU but let me tell you - I'd be close to a 6 grand in a hole if it wasn't for Eddie over there. I'm 110% positive no service writer anywhere unless I knew him personally would have been as helpful and would have given me run-arounds.
My rear diff was replaced, then later my wheel bearing 2 days after... Anywhere else an intake or exhaust would have turned them off probably and voided my 100k mile warranty and I'd be in some trouble
SO IN SHORT..
If you have any problems with your S2000 - Take it to Rick Case and speak with Eddie. Nuff said.
Thanks again dood..

The bearing wasn't as bad as the inner rear hub. It was ground down and making a kind of crunching noise. There really wasn't any bearing noise at all. But I did replace the bearing along with the new hub. In response to a previous thread, tire size will make a difference on the drag coefficient of the differential. This is a FACT!! Me and Eddie Fig do try to look past as much of these things as possible so we can get your car fixed under whatever extended or regular warranty you have. There are times when the repairs are not our call and we have to bring in the DSM, altho our input does weigh heavily with the DSM's decisions. If you guys have a problem with your s2's, give Eddie Fig a call.Even if your out of warranty, CALL. Its always possible for customer goodwill to happen. Some of those conv tops with those mystery tears have been goodwill. Give us a call we'll...

So, was it the left-rear hub? I noticed a lot of play in it when I checked geminigsr's car before he brought it in for repair.
A couple of years ago, Neil (and Marc the shop forman) were very helpful in the warrantree repairs of several items on my old car. As far as the new car is concerned - so far, so good!
thanks, enjoy the car gemini! Dealerships are always sterotyped but we try are best to get the problems on your vehicles resolved. We will be here to help you guys out we also do installs on aftermarket stuff just give us a call.

i agree! neil diagnosed my car within about 2 mins and got the problem fixed.
while the previous honda dealer actually had my car 3 different times and ended up replacing a cylinder head for apparently no reason. all i needed was new injectors.
i'm a big fan of the guys a rick case!
