S2000 Type R?

This "type R" is going to be slower than the current S2000 (drops 220 pounds, but loses 20-40hp). No way Honda would do that. Of course I didn't think they'd release a FR NSX replacement either and that looks to be the direction they're headed

WWHHAATT? then it should be called type S for Slow

I always wondered why honda dident make the s2000 type R. And if they do make it, i think they should just keep the ap2 body, and changing the front and rear bumper a lil bit, sort of like bmw do with there M models, and just make the car alot lighter and keep the same motor or a inline 6 wouldent hurt. MAYBE even a turbo. NOW for that i would trade in my 05 s2000 anyday
