Default Seat thefts... how bad is it?

Just found out this morning that work is sending me to Miami for 2 weeks for training. I'll be just southwest of the airport. Just wondering how bad that area is for seat thefts? What are the chances my seats will still be in the car after 2 weeks of sitting in the hotel parking lot?

50/50 It's hit or miss. We've had sporadic incidents here and there. One night someone got hit in Kendall and a couple of days later someone got it up in Broward...

Location doesn't matter. As soon as they find out where you park your S at night, they'll be more than happy to drive to it. Hope you have seat locks and a good alarm!

Be safe - take a rental car.

Not to mention you just gave them a general idea of where to look.

But read some of the threads further down or on the next page, there's some secure garages you may be able to rent out for the duration of your stay.

That seems to be the conclusion I'm coming to... Thanks for your opinions and advice, it's hard for me to believe how bad the situation is over there Glad I live on the west coast, with a garage at home and work!
