Dont waste your time going to court and dont pay the full ticket .... you end up wasting most of the day waiting your turn in court when you can hire a lawyer for like $70. The lawyer will get you no points and probably those stupid online video traffic courses or something like that ..... back in the day I had to actually sit in one of those classes with a real cop ..... i dont know if they still do this but all the lawyers used to send you all these things in the mail to hire them ..... and DEFINATELY do not contact your insurance company and be like ... i got a speeding ticket !!!

things have changed as far as i have heard. ever since the county shortfall in budjet blah blah court fines have exploded. back in the day, slap on the wrist and maybe 50 dollar fine. now, i heard my buddy got a 200 fine LOL and it was his first ticket in years. regasrdless, get the lawyer, cuase taking off work cost you money too. lawyer will get you adjudication withheld so no points, which is the most important part.
