LOL, had the same thing happen to me a couple weeks ago. I was like "oh shit my exhaust is sounding a bit louder" , but i didnt notice anything as far engine performance goes. Then i went to a plaza that had a shit load of speed bumps and everytime i would go over one id hear like a rattle or something and i was like WTF!!!! when i got home, i parked the car and it smelled like oil. So i popped the hood and noticed the cap missing. Oil was everywhere, but the bitch was getting that cap out. Glad that was an easy fix danny

Shame sh*t happened to me last month. I got into some spirited driving with an Audi and low and behold, I hear loud valve train noise.

I was like WTF! I pulled over to notice that my oil cap popped off. I later found it between my trans and firewall.

I took me awhile to fish it out. I almost said, fuk it, I will get it when I replace the clutch.
