I'm trying to find a local shop that can relip my damaged wheel. I was quoted $325 by Alex over at wheelflip, but I'd rather do it locally if I can. Anyone know of a place that does this type of work well?

Called them after posting this thread, and they don't work on multipiece wheels. I've called around, and nobody wants to touch them (liability reasons I'm assuming). Looks like i'm going to have to ship them out.

They have a Hialeah location.

 

They were the ones that originally tried to repair the wheel. Kevin is good people and did the best he could, but couldn't get it perfect. I talked to them, and their only location that can split the wheel is in dallas :\

 

I've split multiple 3 piece wheels including my own work vsxx wheels to powder coat. PM me for details. Im local to south fl and can come to you for a small fee.

i have a slight bend on my lip and wanna get it fixed :/

 

I sent the wheel out to wheelflip since the type of work needed was rather tricky (needed to put it on a lathe to split the weld). it's only one wheel i'm rebuilding since the other 3 are near mint. i'll post some pics of it when I get it back from them.
