Its very simple and then you dont have to mess with the line as the '03 is somewhat different.
Highway, you can do this mod on any year. I have an '06 with the stock DV removed.

DBW controls the Throttle Body.
Putting an AP1 Slave Cylinder on an AP2 is very easy. Make sure you get the AP1 Clutch Line so you don't have to modify the AP2 clutch line.

Morgan is talking about the pin at the end of the banjo so that the line does not want to rotate when you tighten it. Its different on the AP2. Did you break that off or otherwise you need to stretch the line so that it lines up.

i changed my clutch n added a lightened flywheel myself . the job isnt hard , but takes some time . decided to do it myself cuz i didnt have the cash to get it done . it came out good . i like the increase in acceleration with the flywheel
