off topic, but Jim ... why do you guys buy an '03 slave when you can modify the stock one in 30 seconds?

Its very simple and then you dont have to mess with the line as the '03 is somewhat different.

Highway, you can do this mod on any year. I have an '06 with the stock DV removed.

Joaquin
x2.

not a pain when you have the right tool

DBW controls the Throttle Body.

Putting an AP1 Slave Cylinder on an AP2 is very easy. Make sure you get the AP1 Clutch Line so you don't have to modify the AP2 clutch line.

I did this for Salchicha and the difference was noticeable immediatly.
What do you mean modify the ap2 clutch line? I didn't have to.

Jim,

Morgan is talking about the pin at the end of the banjo so that the line does not want to rotate when you tighten it. Its different on the AP2. Did you break that off or otherwise you need to stretch the line so that it lines up.

I didn't place the pin in the slot or modify it to fit. I just turned it slightly and ran it down the side of the slave next to the slot it is suppost to go. It's working. Do you think it will be a problem?
