I am in Torono Canada on business. May need help getting girlfriend a couple of canisters of canned propane for cooking - the green ones for camping. She only has my S and it cannot get out of LHP due to downed trees.

My S survived from what I understand unscathed and only lost the out board motor cover on sail boat and some screen damage to patio.

im located at west miramar, and im good here...

 

i'm currentlyin NC on vacation. I here my house is still in one piece, although all the trees in my little neghborhood are down, I'm told minor roof damage, (tiles missing, and some minor leaks). but noone was hurt in my area, and all my family and friends are safe.

I'm posting from my office, running on an emergency generator. My home is OK for the most part, lost some roof shingles, no biggie. I have no power, no phone and water pressure as of this morning is very low.

 

Anyone hear when Ft Laud airport is opening up? I am trying to get back from Toronto and all I can hear is that they are assessing damages and do not know

 

Im good nothing happend to any of my houses or my cars, i got hit by a tree while cutting down another one,it practically fell on my head and the other lim hit me on the shoulder and knocked me down on my ass got a bruise or two nothing major people thought i got hurt bad but im ok i guess its true what they say majority of the people get hurt or die after a hurricane

 

My house has some pretty bad damage. My lania was completly destroyed and parts of my roof were ripped off completly. Some of the undersides of the roof, along the sides were also ripped off. Almost all of the paint was ripped from the side of the house.

My neighbors have worse damage. Almost all of their windows are blown out and their roofs are completly off of their houses and some of their sliding glass doors were somehow pushed off their tracks and into their backyards. They also have major water damage inside their house.

All of the trees anywhere I go are blown over and that goes with all of the streetlights and traffic lights as well.

But everyone I know is ok and I haven't heard of anybody with a completly trashed house or car.

 

im ok..just no power, and no phone, posting from a friends house. hopefully should be back up soon. I know the airport here is open already if anyone needs to return home.

Had no power since Monday 8:10 am until today 8:40 am. Phone lines FINALLY back up and running. I had them most of the time except i lost them yesterday and just got 'em back about 5 mins ago. No real damage. The Metal roof we got in the back was starting to come apart during the cane but luckily one bolt kept it from doing so. I got pics and video.. and just glad nothing too bad.
