hey man, met you last night (my name is Jeff - took off early) didnt know your from whitby, I used to be in whitby all the time.

Down for the tech meet again I can bring purple gloves and white suits for anyone who needs. Anything else you need help with Chris? maybe some drinks?
Thanks. Like previous years, the main thing I think we need IMHO is jackstands. If you have jackstands, please bring them. I have most tools but 10/12/14mm sockets, wrenches are always useful with these cars. If anyone needs to torque an axle, we will need a 32mm socket, so bring if you have one - I have lithium grease.

Your purple gloves and white hazmat suits are always welcome

Work will decide if I can make it.
But if I do, looking to change the motor oil and bleed the brakes.
Last year was great, even in the rain.
Hoping to make it out this year.
Thanks Chris
Hope to see you Gord

Save the coilover install for the tech day if you can. They are fun

Great to hear Fluky, I know for sure I will need engine oil to refill my supply. Anyone in need to fluid ie: Brake, Tranny, Differential, Clutch, Engine oil should PM Mike for prices and availability.

Possible projects:
Engine oil change
Tranny oil change
Differential oil change
Brake fluid change
Clutch fluid change
Regrease shifter
Torque axle nuts
Brake pad change
Parts install (nothing that would take over a hour or two max) - ie. intake, exhaust, testpipe, steering wheel, music deck

Any other ideas post them up!

I should mention that the reason we do these days is because it is so very easy to work on the s2000, but the dealership charges waay too much $ to do simple things so learn how to do it yourself under supervision of people who have done the work before.

What I need to learn is to change the fluids, so include me on that. The previous owner installed a short shifter, took it out and put the OEM shifter back on but screwed up the springs in there so the shifter has play. The Honda dealer when I did the inspection said that this was no big deal bolts off and on.

I will have proper jacks by that time.

thanks

Ruy

For the higher mileage cars how about coolant change, valve check/adjustment, spark plugs.
