Nascar does The Glen???

There's a great IRL game for the Xbox but going only in circles is kind of boring in video games, some twisties would be nice to add

If it wasn't for Honda's involvement in IRL, i wouldn't care less about that series. Stupid series if you ask me...

Oh, what a surprise, I don't agree...

I specifically like the V8 NA engine program.

I never liked IRL because they just drove in circles, but not anymore!

Aside from all this IRL vs. CART stuff, keep in mind this is also important to me for a completely different reason. The Glen is less than 80 miles from my home. It is my home track, it is a track we have seen on the edge of decay and bankruptcy, and thanks to all the NASCAR money it is alive and well and always improving. I will support IRL for the single reason that they are at The Glen.

You bet they do, and it is the only NASCAR race I watch, in fact I have even gone to see it live.



I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I love The Glen and do a lot of things to support it. It is one bizarre sight so see those boys run up the Esses bouncing off of each other.

The one funny thing is, they can't run the full NASCAR course like we do for driving schools. The "boot" section is tighter and their 3,000 pound cars can't seem negotiate all the subtleties. The Grand Am cars run the full course, so we are all wondering if the IRL will go the NASCAR course or the full course.

The way I look at it is this, The Glen is getting real open wheel cars back and that is big, big news! The Glen has lots of the smaller support race series that are open wheel like the old Toyota Altantic or the new Formula Renault series, but none of them have the potential fan draw of IRL.

i'm sure the engine "program" is nice.....but, i hate the sound.

hell, what's the difference then between the IRL motor and a NASCAR motor??
