Car value. How do you feel about it?

I think people are asking more for the nsx just because the new one is coming. I don't think people are buying them at those prices though...
Technically the US dollar will drive the price of our cars back up a bit because people are not looking to import. Infact some USA people might want to export our cars to them. Which would be easy for a previous USA car.
The s2000 is kind of rare in Canada also. I guess convertibles aren't popular. There were about 2300 Canadian s2000s and 700ish nsx. In the USA I think it was like 2500 nsx and like 67 k s2000.
I guess here the car is expensive too because new it was like $45k compared to the us $32k? Back then the exchange rate was almost 1.5.
Also s2k prices drop in winter... lots of cheap rebuilt titles in quebec harder to get into ontario. So many factors. I think s2k drivers are more willing to put miles on the car than NSX people so the price will drop.
I could see the NSX being a bit difficult to drive on smaller courses like GB and TMP. I kind of want to try out midengine though.
/end of rambling.

the truly biggest value cars will be unmolested, very low mileage cars in nearly mint condition. Like the '03 in ohio with 2700 miles at $24USD looks cheap...if the dollar was at par.

2700 miles looks good. But then I think stuff like maintenance must have been neglected kind of? Like he probably didn't oil change more than once or twice. Flat spots on tires? I guess diff and tranny oil are ok time wise? Coolant? Brake fluid ? Is the top rubber ok (been greased?)

I had a 1987 MR2 before I got the S2k. You'd be surprised at how MR the S2k feels. The MR felt slightly more twitchy than my current AP2 and for those of you saying that the AP2 was less twitchy than the AP1, the 87 MR2 I had was the revised suspension to relieve the first iteration of the MKI MR2 to make it less twitchy as well.
Apples to apples, I think the balance and precision of the S2k is a good margin better. It's not miles ahead but decent amount.
You're not missing much.

Auto nsx would be a boring piece of shiny pricey metal

Post it on s2ki and the americans will look at it like its a 30% discount. People were going crazy for Oyagi's car.

He did have the bonus of originally being american though so easy to export back to USA.

I bought my unmolested 2006 GPW with 28,000 km in May of 2013 for $24000. The prices have definitely gone up since. That colour combo dictates the higher price, but 28,000 I think is a little too high still. I really wish NSX's were cheaper, because I would already own one if they were $25,000. I can dream though.
