i was getting on the eastbound 401 ramp at yonge and my rear left tire fell into a massive pothole that i couldn't avoid. i heard a VERY loud scrape and when i got out i noticed that the edge of lip had a gash and the tire just underneath it had been lightly skinned with a little flap hanging off. needless to say, i am extremely pissed off.

does anyone know where (in the gta) i can get a forged aluminum rim fixed and what the going rate on something like this would be? it's not a terribly big mark, more on the bottom side of the outter lip, but i'd still like to get this fixed.

i didn't know you could make them do that. who would i contact for this? it's kind of hard to take a pic on that ramp because the lane is under construction and the traffic is forced onto the shoulder which leaves absolutely no room to pull over and take a pic.

The city will definately pay for damage to cars and rims that come from their crappy roads.

Ya, that on-ramp is one of the worst around. Has been for a while.

You have to hug the left side close to the barrier.

i know. but they just put up those big orange and black cylinder cones all up on the left side and you're forced onto that dirty shoulder.
