Clutch master cylinder
Hey guy's keep your eye on your clutch master cylinder mine is gone on a 2001 model only with 32,000 km. London Honda has order me a new one never seen this before fluid was black. Thank god for warranties...Vin

hey man i just discovered my clutch master cylinder has been leaking too and the fluid is black...wats the black fluid mean? and i didnt buy my s i trade a private owner for it do u think there is still a warranty? or wat do i need to do

If this truly is a serious post, unless you somehow have extended warranty (which I doubt because you said you traded for it and seeing as you're unsure, even if the car did have extended warranty, you more than likely do not have the required paper work to make yourself eligible) the black fluid is generally dirt that gets into the master cylinder. From there when you push your clutch in and out it slowly starts to wear down the seals and eventually makes your master cylinder leak and thus useless. A new master cylinder will run you in the ball park of $150~ from your local Honda dealer. If your master cylinder is not leaking and your clutch fluid is black, I would highly recommend you change it ASAP before any more damage occurs. If you do decide to do the clutch (brake fluid) change yourself there is a DIY in the library section of the forum. You will require 1 bottle of OEM brake fluid. No that is not a typo, clutch fluid is the same thing as brake fluid.
