I have a 2000 S2000 and it was an option in that year. I went to the dealership to price it and it was $483.99 before tax!!!! Ridiculous, for a piece of plastic!!!!
it's actually for the complete unit that mounts atop the console hidden compartment. Seek Hardtop guy/Ganley Honda ? Seek an ad in the buy/sell of this forum ? Seek a junkyard for "wrecked" s2000's, take your tools in and you'll be fine..

I guess it's all a matter of personal taste. I've gotten used to mine and besides, they do that from the factory with the Boxsters and SLKs.

I would like to see how well it actually works hehe. The wind is somewhat tolerable for me right now as I have short hair.

I'm not digging the drilled holes tho. But u're right.. it's a matter of taste.

No vibration, adhesives or bumpers needed. Allows access to the glovebox with the roof up.

an attempt to further minimize the vibration or "rattling" against the rubber stoppers at higher speeds over time..

Much better. There is less buffeting with the holes. Without the holes, the wind tries to fight it's way over the screen and produces another kind of turbulence, though not as severe as if you had not screen at all. With the holes, the air comes through the holes in an orderly, "subdued" manner.
