Well put, Paul. About a month ago, I had a guy (18ish) pulled up beside me at a light and asked if I wanted to race him. He was driving a new Audi, not sure which model, but was very new. I told him he could do that at the track but not in this rush hour traffic. He and took off. At the next light, he waved a few $20 bills and ask if I would take him up on it. I just told him he needs the money more than I do and to keep it for himself. The again he and took off. I hate to think what kind of a driver he'll be when he grows up.

Holeecow - lol someone give 50 a holla

Fungi - haha well i did something like a cost benefit analysis. and driving like an asshole on highway 7 or around unionville doesn't really do much good.

pros: if street racing and the end result is you beating another guy, all you get is some 'props' or 'street credibility,' kinda homo if you ask me. if i'm engaging in some dangerous activity, i'd expect a far bigger payoff for the risk. or if you're speeding by yourself, that means you get to your destination or another red light faster, i dunno, i just plan ahead, leave earlier and take my time when driving to places

cons: you waste gas. potential for fines and tickets by the 5-0. less people get to see your pretty face in your car since you're driving so fast. potential for car accident and thus endangering your/other peoples' lives - i dunno, i got a pretty big ego and i think my life has a lot of untapped potential still lol. hypothetically, if you were to engage in racing/demonstration of speed, you could lose to a faster car or better drive; that would potentially result in a blow to the ego. less time spent in the environment and breathing fresh air. less time under the sun, i need to fix my tan.

ya it's french polynesia~

s2kobsession - lol close! it's kanyeezy ft. paul wall, john lennon and some other schmuck

You always see nice cars driving slow. They got nothing to prove. Most of the time its all the cars in the 140 to 200 horsepower range that always want to race each other. I got civics and masda 3s all the time that fly buy me trying to get me to go fast. Its gay for shure but we are all men and we love our cars and believe we are faster then our car rilly is some times. I remember my first car when I was 17 was a 1993 chevy caviler. I was so happy when I got that car and tried to race guys all the time. I got killed but I still loved my car. So when I got some punk on my a$$ I just laugh and think how I was when I was his age. lol =]
True and I totally agreed. And also I have to say that the more mods I have on my car, the slower I drive. eg. Drive slow to avoid port holes and scaping after lowering, no tail gating because of stone chip, signaling all the time because of cops, and most important is drive slow so people can see how nice your car is ..you get my point
