Speestar did my roll. IMO, they did a great job fitting 18x10 +57. The bumper tab had to me moved, but no body parts cut... only a bit of the rear bumper.

I'm no offset king but I think 17x9 +40 with a 255 is going to be a tight fit. Did you double check what others with the same offset have done to make it fit? You can roll the lip in the rears but the rear quarters kink VERY easily on these cars if you try to flare them at all. Ask me how I know
I know my 9.5 +35 with a 265 was and still is ridiculously wide for the car but thats probably almost an inch wider than your setup...
Actually come to think of it my old setup was a 17x8.5 +45 with a 255 and a roll, bumper tab relocation, and rear bumper trim was needed. So I think you may be looking at doing that stuff or going with a smaller rear tire...
