Default FRM honing

i have a f22 block that needs the cylinder walls honed. Looking for the right stones to do it myself or a shop that has done this sucessfully. The cylinders aren't scored but had some water in them that made part of the frm sleeves "not as smooth" as the untouched cylinders. Any help is appreciated. Looking for someone close to Kitchener but will travel if the shop is very reputable.

The two most reputable/popular engine builders in Etobicoke are Canadian cylinder head tech or Gord Busch. Not sure of anything out west, sorry Nick.

The stones are very rare pattern from what I remember reading about them. The trick is to find a shop that has done these engines in the past as the average shop won't have them and they won't want to buy them for a single job. Gord Bush is a popular builder. I know Praeven Christensen in London 519-652-3434, he is certainly capable and has built a multitude of FRM Honda engines, but I can't say anything about his pricing, you would have to call him. I've used him in the past for head work and I was told Shawn was using him for some of his engine work ?.

Thanks. I'll look into it. Just looking to see the cost and if it's worth rebuilding the engine with the frm walls or just sleeve it and build the motor.

I'll post pics of my project car once I start getting the ball rolling on it.

Nick forget this. Sell ur shit, you will still need a flywheel, clutch, harness, and copious amounts of other little odds and ends... I know someone selling a complete drop in.

Let me know if you want me to hook you up with him
