Need more explanation for sure. Does the idle jump all over? Does it just idle fine then die? Idles fine when cold, only does it warm? No CEL? Modifications on the car?

Idle doesn't jump, cold starts at 18-2k than it drops to 800-1k , no cel light(just air bag) which not related correct? only when its warm , rev n it just drop n dies. Sometimes if i rev alil when it drops to about 1k, it would shake @ 400 or so n comes back to about 800. But the car shakes more than it should @800. Sometimes it wouldn't stay up n just drop n dies.
only mod is cold air intake ,ones with the pipe runs down close to the passenger wheel.

Have you done an idle relearn after the things you have done in your original post? You may have solved the problem but the ECU does not know it yet.

You have to let it idle for a couple fan cycles which is usually 10-15 minutes unless you held the RPM at 3K until it warmed up(not recommended).

Not sure if it's the same, but on my old BRZ, my aftermarket intake (Injen) would cause the engine to suddenly die (often when warm) such as while deceleration on the highway. Would you be able to swap in the stock airbox to test if the problem goes away?

Sorry for reviving an old thread.

I have had the same problem, strange idle once it's warm, between 800-1000, always oscillating. Occasionally it would drop to about 400-500 and almost die. For the longest time I thought it was a dirty IAC, I would clean it once every two years, clean the throttle body, change the air filter every year, despite usually driving about 3k a year in the car.

I came across a youtube video of a guy mentioning the exact same problem, and the solution was replacing the injectors, as the injectors tend to leak after a while. I found it strange singe these injectors are the same for the k series, and I never heard CR-Vs having this problem, but I gave it a shot, ordered some new injectors, installed them and have been free of this idle issue for the past 3 months.
