Default LIMITED SPACES: Want to drive on CTMP Mosport International Raceway?

Yep, you read that right.

If you want to have a chance at FREE ALLIGATOR lapping on venerable and world famous Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Mosport International Raceway, you now have a chance to do it safely with the great folks at Ontario Time Attack!

OTA will be doing FREE ALLIGATOR lapping on June 24th (Saturday) during the lunch hour. There are limited spaces so sign up early.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
PM me, give me your full name, car details (year, color, make and model). If you are missing any of these details, you will lose your chance to sign up.

DETAILS:
- Be there for 11am to sign paperwork
- Drivers meeting at 11:30am
- Cars on track by noon
- Ends at 1pm

Important Notes
- Alligator lapping means that there is a pace car that leads a TRAIN of folks onto the track
- NO PASSING AT ANY TIME
- This is NOT a race
- This is NOT open lapping
- Maintain pace car line
- Maintain pace car pace
- Do not drop back and do not ride bumpers (maintain constant spacing)
- NO helmets required
- NO ROLL BAR REQUIRED (since this isn't a race)
- Any STREET LEGAL car is permitted

This is a GREAT and SAFE way to get your taste of this famous track without fear of having any on-track incidents! Again, I repeat, this is NOT a race and NOT open lapping but rather a bunch of folks like yourself who want to get onto the track with a lead car and experience the track!

Sign up now!

Cheers.

Kev

I don't have specifics but given that this is open to public, nothing very quick I would assume. This is meant for folks to learn the track from a driver's standpoint and not meant to be track coaching or racing in any way.

When I did OTA school at CTMP-GP we did alligator lapping with the public during lunch break.

Speeds reached a maximum of about 100-120kph on the straight, and 40-60 km in the corners.

Like normal driving on public roads. Was still really fun for all.

If you've never been to Mosport, you should go. It's an actual race track not something carved out of a bean field or converted from an airstrip.

As long as it is street legal and as long as you have seat belts for the amount of people in the car, it is fine.

We had a guy in a Mazda 3 before. You'll be fine.

You should! It's free and weather looks fantastic. Track is extremely gorgeous and you get to stroll through it.
