M3, S4, or G35
Well, i think it's finally time to move on. After almost 7 yrs of owning a S2000, i think it's time to get something slightly more practical.
I'm thinking a 2004 M3, S4 or G35.
Looking for thoughts and driving experience on all cars. What about buying from states?
If someone is looking for a mint 04 Rio S2k, lemme know.

The m3 is the only one i'd remotelly be interested in taking to the track, and simce you'll be itching to strip 500lbs off of it in a few years, it the only sensible choice for you.

Err...anything but the M3. It is plagued with numerous problems. Hell, just google 'bmw m3 problems', you'll stumble from anything to outright blow ups to annoying diagnostic lights. Plus, with the new generation out soon, the older ones are going to plummet in value. But then most people I know who buy this crap, buy it mainly for the brand.
The S4, 335i or the IS350 would be my pick. The G37 would also be nice. I would go for the 335i coupe.

I would choose the M3 or S4, G35 is a dime a dozen now.......to much people have them.
I see more of those than the e46 330ci.
Considering the median price on trader for an '04 m3 is $50k - I'd opt for a new '07 335i coupe since its roughly the same price and I've read that its supposed to be a better performer than the e46 m3.

The e46 m3 is not that rare either! They are everywhere as well.
