Sorry this is off topic but what's the point of 500whp when you can't even get traction?

Pretty simple, The point is to have a powerful car.............500whp actually is still controllable and is very easy to gain traction with the right tire even on the street. The real problem is too much traction tends to break things.

Thanks again for the advice, information, and guidance as to my next steps. I have contacted APH, as per the first recommendation, and will plan to take it there for my first

As to "my fly s2k" Youre on topic, but your question doesnt make sense. Thats the very purpose of this thread... to gain more usable traction. Like Nelson said. Its not that the power that Is uncontrollable. It is, just with the right tune/ setup. I feel its controllable, I just seek advice on what to propose to a tuner. I dont mind if my power goes from 500 to 450, to 400. Those number dont matter to me. As long as the power becomes more usable. I am very happy with the 500 whp in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. However From this very thread. Not to mention , Ive only had it for 2-3 weeks. I think every week I will get better at controlling it and understanding its behaviour and idiosyncrasies. If that makes sense.

Anyways thank to everyone for all the positive feedback. I will update this thread as soon as I make progress on this to let everyone know what steps I took and what my outcomes were. Cheers!

If you know it was built by Paul @ Splitfire why not take it back there as they already know the car, and have them re-tune to your needs.

I would also suggest purchasing a set of ASM/shine rear fender flares so you can increase mechanical grip and run a wider tire. Although I suspect that any summer tire you run will not grip that well in this weather.

You can adjust the clutch engagement point to your liking. My sos clutch engaged really high as well.

All I'm saying is don't detune the car/boost by gear unless you've taken the steps to increase traction etc. I'm all for a 500whp s2k... I'm sure it's a blast to drive.

OP you're posting a link from gmail. That's not going to work.

Download the picture to your computer.

Upload it to Imgur or photobucket, or any photosharing site, facebook works too.

Once it's uploaded. Right click on the picture and "copy image URL" on Chrome or "Copy image location" or firefox.

Come back to the reply box and click on the little picture box (Two boxes away from the emoticons box) and paste the link there
