i don't know about other people's gear selection, but you can hit 180 on the back straight at shanny.
I hit about 155-160 kph on Fabi straight. I always run with the top down. Then again, don't really look at the speedo when that 50 foot sign goes by.

25 kph is a really big difference to be accounted by different driver on a straight up drag run. The max. speed of 4th is 185 kph with stock gears and tires. Wouldn't think you would need to shift to 5th for less than a second before braking and downshifting for the hard corner.

Do you run with the top, have more power or gears without the speedo correction?
