Should totally paint it black, I love when people paint their hoods black on a coloured car...

Lol. That's the "I can't afford to buy a cf hood so I'll spend $12 on a can of tremclad" personally I like the rusting hood more... Gives the car texture.

I meant paint the wrap Sebring Silver to match if possible with today's technology. Then he could revert back to carbon to sell of if he changed his mind, just peel away. If you were poking at me?

Sorry Hfreak my comment was not in response to your comment, just towards the discussion. I think your idea is actually worth looking into, it would be nice to be able to revert back to the carbon look.

No worries, I wasn't sure if my thoughts were translated or not?

The hood is off and heading in for painting this week. I was running the car ghetto style today, lol. It was a bit embarrassing but I couldn't resist getting it on the road.

I did some photoshop work on the hood, however its very difficult to go from black to light colour without it looking bad.

Needless to say I strongly agree with everyone else that it looks better painted, ive look at a bunch of pictures and it makes a huge difference.

I cant wait to see the final result

Thanks Dom, I agree and I think getting back to silver is the way to go. I'll post up pics as soon as I can get the hood back. Thanks pal.

I had someone in a brand new STi give me a thumbup yesterday, even with my ghetto hood mod, lol. That was nice to see I can't even get a wave from other S2000 owners in my town
