Yep, those are the guys.. they have some real sweet cars stashed away in the back bays..

also a nice 800hp engine waiting to be put into something last time I was there...

Hmmm You think you could fit it in the S2K?

you have GOT to be kidding, right?

i have S03's....what's not to like?

they have just as good dry grip PLUS they give WAY more warning before breaking loose......wet traction, no contest compared to OE's........

i dunno, just makes no sense to me......but maybe it's just me..........whatever........

Its just you....

Even after Mike had broken them in they felt squishy going around the corner, the confidence level at a high speed turn just wasn't there.

I wasn't being overly critical either figuring they would be better than the S02's....however I didn't feel this was the case.

there's this thing that you can do to eliminate that feeling - it's called adding air.........

i think he mentioned earlier that he got oem. After doing some research, the treadwear on the S03s are not much better than the S02s, 220 to 180. I'm not sure either of these are worth the money. Considering, i wont be using these tires for track/race conditions, i doubt i will see a noticeable difference. I'm thinking now about the RE740s. They are Zrated but about 200bux cheaper with a treadwear of over 300. Another thing, you can adjust your driving/tire pressures to suit the handling.

It is true that I had 225's on the back,

as for tire pressure I tried every imaginable combination. I really wanted these to work.
Hell I even tried what Rahul said with 18 lbs less then reccomended.

The turn in was sloppy, it was squirly and I felt the grip was far less then the S02's.

putting new s02's on after it went right back to feeling like my old car.

and lets face it for me, I would rather spend the extra money and have my car perform as well as it can then try and save a few bucks and time with the S03's

thats the way I see it.

hence your understeer problem.......shoulda gone 245's.......

anyways....every car is different and mine has been no where close to stock (suspension wise) for 2 years now, so i may not be remembering the feel of a stock car all that well......

btw, my car handles really well....

ps. 18lbs LESS?? man, that is nuts - glad you're still alive!!!

how's things otherwise?
