The Cayman S has 18'' wheels and PSM as standard
PASM and Tiptronic S are available as options
Variocam Plus comes with the engine, this seems to indicate the probability that the Cayman S engine is based on the 996 M96 engine.

The S2000 does 0-100kph in 5.4 seconds aswell.

looks pretty god...so size wise it should be bigger than a boxster? I wonder what the size is compared to a 911?

decent looks
hideous name
not a big fan of the rear slope (esp. in the last pic / profile shot)

would i trade the S for it? no way
would i lease it as a car to beat around for fun? mebbe.

the word on the street is that they are probably going to sell it for around $100K Canadian! It's supposed to be lighter than a 911. Should be interesting!

I like it. Looks good, performs well. At C$100k its priced too high IMO.

Wow, sort of looks like Porsche challenged themselves to make something look different than the 1963 901 that they have copied for the past 42 years... I almost like it...

if i had a $100K to spend, i'd find the extra $15K or so and go Carrera. i'm also suprised that it's fixed top only... a lot of people like the Boxster because you can drop the top. more justification for them to stick with the Boxster.
