I think it feels that way because the softest I have the rebound set is halfway, more then likely on full soft it would be a lot better. Also they did not come "ready to install". I measured all the spring lengths as they came out of the box and the preload was not equal on all of them. There also isn't much information listed online so I'll be contacting HSD this week to see what they recommend as far as preload is concerned. Right now mine are set to 0 preload. I also set the height a little higher then I'd like because im still running stock MY00 front bar and want to be on the safe side for saving my fenders from body roll
