No the simulator sends a signal to the computer into thinking it's working. And we're from Canada so no we have no affiliation with sandiego.

Izze's air pump and evap simulators will pass smog given that you don't have a CEL for some other reason. You can't rip out the actual system or you will not pass the visual inspection.

It depends. I know from experience. As long as the visible hoses are there you're good.

I was replying to a user asking a question in California. In California every SMOG inspection starts with a visual inspection.
