You guys are too funny, I haven't posted pics in the thread. I have not posted pics on the site since the format changed, never bothered to learn the new way of doing it. Not too much to see on the car, I thought it would easier to describe it at this point, the entire car is on jackstands and most of the exterior and interior is stripped. Once I get it on the ground I will try to take some pics. thanks for the replies

I'm working to have this build finished in 2-3 weeks time. New brake pads installed , brake calipers painted today. Ignition timing adjustment to be done tomorrow. Adjustable shocks to be installed next weekend, with new Yokohama tires. I'm wrapping the roof in black vinyl to give it a different look. I got the antenna fixed to my liking, and a new driver side mirror being replaced.
I'm doing the rustproofing myself of all body panels, inside and out as the car is pretty much stripped right now and I'll try my hand at it with a Schultz gun and rust check products. I hope to have it painted in 2 weeks time. All lightbulbs are being replaced. That should be the end of the build for this season. I'll take some pics when it is all done and cleaned up. Looking forward to driving it soon, the tune-up and swapping of the intake should make it drive even better along with the brake and suspension upgrades.

I finally hit one set-back, a number of suspension bolts are seized in the rear lower control arms, these things are frozen solid, nothing is getting them loose.
Final mod list is complete. Interior gets the type r armrest, suede shift boot, Honda JDM shift knob, and short shifter. Suspension gets new skunk2 rear lower control arms, H&R susp. springs & adjustable shocks . Type R front upper strut bar in engine bay. At the rear it gets a 24mm rear sway bar with integrated subframe brace. New tires with sizing increased plus 1, Oil changed to Mobil1 0w40 motor oil . If we can get it to the track this season it should turn quite well.

Ah yes Anthony, he showed me your S2000 when I was there, it looked in great shape.
I pretty much have the GS-R completely upgraded - tires, suspension, rust, antenna, sunroof, mirrors, wheels, s.s. brake lines & pads, engine mounts, oem intake swap, short shifter, some type R parts. The engine is completely tuned-up and runs quite well. .I thought he was exaggerating when he said that the engine doesn't burn any oil, it literally hasn't burned a drop and I've been driving it hard all the time, quite impressive for the age of the motor and unlike any Honda I've had before. The car is so old-school Honda that I actually really like it. Two ashtrays, one cigarette lighter and five on the floor, lol.
Say hello for me.

I made a simple change to the oem intake system and instantly turned it into a CAI. Intake air temp readings are now 15-20 degrees above ambient which is about as good as it gets considering the intake air temp sensor is mounted in the manifold. It's a bit too quiet but it works well. If I can get the suspension done by the long weekend the car should be ready for the track by end of month, hoping.
