Seized my engine

Personally I would get the Spoon oil pan if you can swing it, I really like the design of their baffle, I'm using the Mugen oil pan which is decent but I like the Spoon design even better.
Welding a baffle onto a used oil pan can be tricky as the pan has to be completely spotless and free of oil and varnish for the welds to hold up, I'd rather use a new part but that's just me.

Just ordered one

Reluctanct to post but car has been off the road for a bit. Lasted about 500 km. Haven't had a chance to tear the motor down yet, but in the process of pulling it right now. I may have been naive but it was a learning experience
Anyone have a clutch alignment tool I can borrow?
I have bought a weld in baffle so far, updated oil squirters (thank you unanimous donor ) ap2 retainers, new valve stem seals for the head, and oil/temp gauge that I will need to get correct hardware for. I miss my car

I guess you have your work cut out for you, but at least you have all winter to sort it out. When mine croaked it was the first day of the driving season and I pretty much lost an entire season of driving. It's painful to have a blown engine on such a great car, hope you get it up and running soon , all the best pal.
