hey guys before I go to the dragon the dragon I'd like to install shaft spacers. being from Kitchener none of the shops around here stock any.

can u think of any shop in the GTA that would have these in stock? I tried teknotic. he has to order them. I only have 3 weeks. so ordering them might be out of the question

I would say get two piece ones otherwise you may as well just swap axle buckets- which is free and requires no added parts

Are these things necessary?

I've had my car lowered for 4 years and done nearly 50k on the same axles. No vibrations or weird things to report here.

If you lower your car and you don't get vibrations then you don't need spacers. If you get vibrations, spacers simply move the wear spot to a new location, same thing as swapping buckets.

ive been lowered 25000km. I was just trying to fix any issues that might happen to or from the dragon.

and I don't currently have any vibration

Then there is nothing to fix by putting the spacers on the car. Save your money, as they aren't a preventative maintenance item, you mainly put them on if you develop a vibration after lowering.

If by slight chance you do develop a vibration it is not a mechanical issue that needs immediate attention, as it won't lead to a mechanical breakdown situation. You could make it back home to address the issue without a problem.

Just make sure your brakes are good to go. A good dot 4 fluid.

Lowering the car moves the axle knuckle further out of the buckets. Adding the spacer just puts the axle back to where it was before lowering.
