Default Sleeper power adder

So purchased my car about 2 yrs ago. Went to clean the throttle body shortly after purchasing the car and found this in the intake arm just before the TB:

I took it out and didn't want to blow up my motor considering this piece of hardware is at least worth 250ihp (imaginary horse power).

This winter I did some work on my car and removed my K&N FIPK...I recently sold my K&N FIPK kit and took the filter off to clean for the new owner and found this just after the filter in the intake arm:

This is at least worth another 250ihp. I checked the bearing for any shaft play but its nice and tight. I am surprise my motor didn't blow up with the 30ipsi (imaginary pounds per square inch) these 2 gadgets added.

Anyways I am considering selling them for $5 each or if you get me a large Tim's I'll trade both for that. Potential add of 500ihp.

I been through the rest of the car and haven't found and hidden gems, but I'm hopefull.

Its hard to say. I took out the first device initially and thought that was the end of it. I only discovered the last device a week ago because I took the air filter off to clean for the new owner of the K&N FIPK. I did a lot of work on the car this winter so I will never know what the difference was. Maybe I should re-install it before the IC to increase the boost pressure.

I may bring it to the next meet for any interested buyers...

You're going to do the world a favour by throwing it out in the garbage.

The first one for sure...but the second one has potential. I'm gonna stick it on my riding lawnmower so I can save fuel and feel the power.

IDK. I see it as it impedes air flow in order to create a vortex effect. WTF will a vortex effect have?

I'd want as much air to reach my piston with the least amount of restriction with the maximum velocity at which I can achieve.

Interested in your observations of how the car performs after this crap has been removed. Please share. ie. throttle response.
