Julie's dad just picked up the 70-200 f2.8 IS blah blah blah thing today for his 5D. He also picked up the 17-40, some epson digital viewer thing and a few other incidentals.
two things, the 5d with the vert grip and 70-200 is friken heavy.
second, because it's a full frame sensor, 200mm just don't account for that much zoom. Freddie, are you finding the range of the lens to be a problem on the new gear?

not with how i am using it... i have 17-40 f4, 24-70 f2/8 and 70-200 f/2.8...
i put the 24-70 on the 5D and 70-200 on 1D Mk2... the 1D MK2 has 1.3x crop.. so it's reaching.. best of both worlds i tell ya...
oh.. i don't shoot with the grip with the 5D ... too heavy when i have to carry two bodies
