But the good thing about this car is that... it starts up right away even after 2-3 days without starting it up, where the S2000's battery faded again for the 3rd time. The 86 warms up pretty fast too! Pretty good built for a 15 year old car.

Oh really?? Man, I've been casually looking for a AE86 to use as a drift machine for some time now. I just sold off my 240SX SR20DET last month and now I'm trapped in my Jeep TJ and wife's Pathfinder.
I'm in the midst of planning for the import of one of fave machine next spring, an R32 Skyline GTR. Unbelieveable values in Japan right now. Until then, if the right project car shows up I'll bite.
1badride: Yeah, that *was* my old 1992 Z32 TTZ. Its been sold for some time now, but I keep it on my sig since it jives with my name It was a Stage 3 TTZ: GReddy Airinx intake, gutted cats, GReddy SP exhaust, Blitz BOV, Blitz turbo timer and boost controller, JWT ECU, RC 550cc injectors, Stillin intercoolers. Dyno'd at 355 rwhp at 14 psi boost. I sold it for the lexus because my wife had a dream I was going to crash in burn inside it. What a mistake that was...

The 86's prices are pretty cheap during the winter. If you are gonna use it as a project, on auto trader, there is a SR5 chassis for $300 (white too).
Some guy on the AE86 boards is selling a rebuilt 4AGE engine for $300 as well. $600 you have a decent white 86, we can open up a tofu delivery service!
