I'm in love plain and simple.....

Has anyone else driven this car and what are your opinions on it?

it's supposed to drive like a dream. if you don't like the hunchback look of the coupe, get the roadster. it looks like the z3, with much better performance specs.

I almost bought one, but went for the S2000 instead.

Feeling the torque slide you back in the seat from an off-idle launch, traction control, and knowing that you are driving one of the sickest cars BMW has ever engineered really makes me wonder....Alpine white, or Steel grey metallic?????

Again Lesley, I am glad that you had the chance to test drive one before we buy ours next year! We are still on to test drive a 2002 when you come down next month...I hope you are ready!

I still can't decide if I like the looks of it..
Is the suspension still the "old" design or has it been updated?

It is my understanding that the 02 suspension was upgraded, but that is from the dealer...what the hell do they know...The same guy told me that the new 315 hp rating was "at the rear wheels, not flyweel"

I really love the looks of all Ms especially the Mcoupe. I was also considering buying one before i picked up the S. The only thing that prevented me was that they were still using the 80s chassis and suspension components. The new 01 M3s are completely different ofcourse!

Bryon, you should have seen the grin on Lesleys face when i mentioned how her test drive went in the Mcoupe!

What can I say....I'm hooked....of coure Bryon you're partially to blame for this....after listening to you descibe your drive (alone with no salesperson!)....I hate to get a taste....

As you mentioned...it'll be in our description under all our posts in the not so distant future along with
the _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _!

And Nabeel....that was between you and me!!! j/k You're just so fun to share those things with
