Got a link to the camera?
I bought it to fly on my rc plane, tested it out on the plane last week and the vantage point turned out pretty good...

those little under bumper lip things always sound worse than it is.
do you worry about showing your neighbourhood where you live in the vid?

It would be cool if you could mount like an Iphone with facechat or something to the plane and have a monitor that you could watch and maybe fly the plane a bit of a distance away. Thats cool though either way!
I've got a live feed camera on a pan and tilt mount with a head tracker. Basically I fly with a birds eye view sitting in the cocpit, and as I turn my head with the video googles, the plane senses the movement and looks in the direction I am looking. Plus I have an on screen display that shows the live GPS data and direction to home with full telemetry, like a HUD from an F-16. I've modified the RC transmitter and video receiver for better range performance. Also, I have a "fly to home" feature that allows the plane to fly back to the launch spot and hold a pattern. This is done if I lose signal, and a fail safe is automatically activated. Can preprogram waypoints via GPS as well for auto pilot. Although I can only fly out about 5 km at the momment. I haven't recorded any videos yet, but will probably do so in the next few weeks when the weather improves. Technology sure has come a long way. A few years ago this would cost 10s of thousands, now about 1500 bucks for good gear with decent range.
Here is a sample of what I am talking about, with the right system you can get serious height and distance:
