Default Washing car cover in machine?

Anyone ever wash their car cover in a washing machine? I don't want to risk damaging the cover or my machine. Might just try a coin op and if the machine blows ill run.

Or any other cleaning products or ways of cleaning the cover? thanks

LOL Run away!! (reminds me of Worms Armageddon....)

I am also wondering the same, but i'd say once its on the car just spot clean it with detergent, light brush or sponge. I don't your machine or a coin-op are large enough to acommodate such a large material especially once it gets wet its going to heavy as shit. It would need an industrial sized machine.

I wash mine in my front loader and let it air dry, no dryer. Works every time

It depends on the material. I f'd up my car cover when I tried washing it. Brought it to my dry cleaner for them to give it a try, but it was too late. My cover was a California car cover.

I've done one wash at the local coin laundry mart. They have larger washer / dryer that will better fit the purpose. Results are good, I used cold wash with regular detergents at normal spin and drying at medium temperature.
