Who's Running An Oil Pressure Gauge ?

Oh I sold my valvecover so I decided to do a valve clearance check while I had the head exposed (notice the plastic garbage bags), I disconnected the wire that crosses the valvecover so the vtec connector is part of that. I'm waiting for a new valvecover so I can button it all up.

I got the gauge wired up, I just turned the ignition on to test it. It looks pretty good, I like the auto-dimming feature, it's in dim mode in the picture below. It has a sweeping green led on the outer ring of the face but like most LED's they don't show up well in pics, it shows up fine to the naked eye.
Word of caution to anyone using the spare fusebox slots under-dash. One slot is 12v ignition, one slot is 12 volt battery (24/7). The third slot tests out as ground with ignition on and off, but the funny thing is as soon as you turn on the headlights it turns to 12v power. I have no idea why Honda would want a spare slot that changes from ground to ignition only when the lights are turned on unless it was intended for use by the drl's ?. I had my gauge grounded to the slot at firts, but I changed it to a body ground when I discovered that the spare slot actually changed to 12v when the headlights are turned on, luckily.

I fired the car up on the weekend after messing around with it all winter. I mostly wanted to make sure there weren't any leaks from the fuel pressure gauage and oil pressure sensor/hose I installed.
Upon cold start up the oil pressure hit 99 psi, it steadily decreased as the oil heated up and as cold idle slowed down, the last numbers I saw while idling were in the mid 20's. So pretty normal for an ap1 with upgraded oil jet bolts and running 5w30 conventional motor oil.
Fuel pressure was pretty steady at 43 psi. I didn't get a chance to test out the WOT fuel pressure reading/simulation.
I sprung a tiny leak on a coolant hose that ran under the intake hose vent pipe so I had to shut down the engine a bit earlier than I wanted. I'm glas that I tested it now rather than when I was on the road in a few weeks time. I'm going to replace the small coolant hoses and be done with it.
