At above 40km/h the steering is quick. Below 40km/h you can maneuvre the thing like a shopping cart. I must say, however, that I would NOT want to ever get into an accident with this thing. It may be safe at "city" speeds, but highway speed (I took it up to 120km/hr) I felt very conscious about safety. It doesn't accelerate quickly, but it does stop quickly. You wouldn't be able to accelerate out of a situation in one of these.

Rear drive - rear engine.
I think it would be fine in the snow.
In fact, with some serious ice/snow tires on, I think it would be an absolute BLAST in the snow!

It needs a bigger turbo, forged pistons, 8.5:1 CR, intake, exhaust, bigger injectors, intercooler, blow off valve, ... etc. etc.
As far as losing traction, I could not make it peel or chirp, but I suspect that was from the computer controlled trans... very very soft shifting.
