damn I would first buy a bus pass before taking an S out in the winter if its never been driven in snow. plus youll save a ton on insurance enough to buy a beater next year.

i have been looking for a beater but all that i find are sold as is. getting safety and an e test done with registration is too expensive for me unless i get lucky. with my insurance, car payments, and student loan payments i have very little disposable income. hopefully that will change soon. but my budget is around $500
