Moddiction,

How do you think black would look? I took a peek at the OEM shift knob, and it's painted black, and I'm wondering if that would look the best/kinda OEM looking. Did you say you'd be willing to paint the engraved part different colors for those that ordered?

Yeah I am offering free coloring of the engraving.
I won't be able to test it's longevity unfortunately though. I have tested the paints durability now and seems really good. You need to really get in there with your nail and scrape at it. being that it is recessed it should not be touched at all and last a long time.

Hmm, cool thanks Moddiction. How do I put in a request to have my pre-order shift knob's engraving painted? My car is rio yellow, so I was thinking of maybe yellow, but inside the car, it seems like black would look the cleanest/oem imo. Do you think the black would be too dark and not show?

Just let me know which one and I can add it to the notes for your order.
As for which would look better it is really hard to say. I am sending another sample in to get done so I can have one that will look just how they all will when done to maybe get some pics in my car or something.
Black will definitely look nice and clean and oem like I would think. But then again CR knob has yellow engraving so would look similar to that just a little bigger and lower and heavier.

I don't have an exact date but it will be until I am getting them in. Probably another 2 weeks or so. Once I know an approximate date I will post that up so people can get in before it ends.
