Default BBS LM - Information and feedback needed

Hello S2Ki community.

I have a rare opportunity from a friend in Japan to possibly bring in some BBS LMs in 18inch, but wanted to gauge interest and get feedback.
Colors available are Silver and Gold
Sizes that are available as follows:
18x8.0 +35, +40, +45 - 21.7 lbs
18x8.5 +38 - 21.3 lbs
18x9.0 +25, +42, +48 - 22.2 lbs
18x9.5 +38 - 21.7 lbs
18x10.0 +20 +25 - 23.1 lbs

These are not available from BBS USA, but wanted to get an idea of the interest for these wheels and sizes.
List prices for the wheels here are roughly:
18x8.0 $890
18x8.5 $905
18x9.0 $925
18x10.0 $960

These are all forged wheels, so they fall in line with the Volk pricing for that size.

Here are the two finishes

Pic of car with BBS wheels, just to give you an idea

Your suggestions, thoughts and ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you everyone

BBS LMs are timeless, high quality wheels, but their retail prices are pretty high. at that price point, i think most people look elsewhere for more unique wheels. additionally, the current gen of s2000 owners are mostly looking for extreme fitments (at lower price points)

Would be a small market for sure. I think most people who track their cars and spend that amount of money on wheels want 17s.

I am a fan of the LMs. Always have, always will be. There is something super clean about them. I wouldn't track them. They are too nice. It's a show wheel. Similar to HREs. They are too heavy anyway, especially in 18". With the right offset and tire size and lowered, I think LMs are still one of my favorite wheels.

Having said that, yikes, they are not cheap...

Mocky,

I totally agree with you, but I updated the post with the weights of the wheels. For a multi-piece wheel, the weights are pretty decent compared to most out there. Of course a one piece forged wheel is going to be lighter.

Unfortunately with these Japanese sizes, only these 2 colors are available.
